Chiang Mai Mountain Sanctuary - Half day
Established in 2017, Chiang Mai Mountain Sanctuary is one of the latest elephant sanctuaries in Chiang Mai, run by local Karen people who love their elephants. The location is beautiful in a valley surrounded by the rolling green hills of the Mae Taeng region, just an hour north of Chiang Mai. There are fifteen adult elephants and one baby elephant who is about three years of age at the sanctuary. With the half day trip, you will spend the morning or afternoon helping with feeding, bathing, and observing the gentle giants. We will take the elephants on a short hike to the nearby Mae Taeng river to enjoy bathing with them.
The entrance price for this fantastic elephant sanctuary is unbeatable.
Children 4 to 8 years of age pay only 750 Baht entrance. Children 1 to 3 years of age can join the trip for free.
